On June 28th Xiaomi’s Mi 11 Lite was available for very first time on sale in India, team at Oyprice got a chance to experience it and its something you should know in detail before you make your decision.
Mi 11 Lite Design & Build
Its a glass Front and back panel sandwich device with plastic frame and the thickness is 6.81mm, because of its thinness the weight of the device is approx 157g which compared to available devices in market is much lighter, team at Oyprice got surprised while holding the device for the first time and comparing it with their devices. Related to its design there is drawback, there is no 3.5mm hole which means users cannot use their wired earphones and the second drawback related to its lightness is a smaller battery pack.
Mi 11 Lite Battery & Display
It features a 4250 mah battery compared to the competition its lesser in size but in our usage it was able to last nearly a day with 6 hours of screen on time which is quite good considering we kept it at 90hz refresh rate. The bundled 33watt charger can charge the device within 1hr30min.
The display is 6.55 inch Full-HD 10-Bit HDR amoled panel and in daylight condition the viewing experience was seamless thanks to its 800nits high brightness. The display also supports 240hz sampling rate which means the tapping action you take translates to faster response and its beneficial while gaming. Although its a 10-Bit panel which definitely helps in processing more shades of colours but also depends on the media you are consuming, if you dont have any 10-Bit media then mostly you will end up watching regular 8-Bit content, but also if you are into content creation, digital artist etc then you will really enjoy the 10-Bit panel and so in short “ good to have it onboard “.
Just like any other high refresh rate amoled display we faced some washy pattern and artifact like issues with the panel at low brightness, thats being said its only visible at low brightness for few light shaded colours only.
Mi 11 Lite Cameras & Performance
This time with the Mi 11 Lite Xiaomi implement triple camera setup, the primary one is a 64 MP sensor with F/1.79 and it captures little saturated and contrasty images with enough details which definitely looks pleasing to eyes and catchy and also the HDR captures are well optimised and we liked it.
The second sensor is a 8MP ultrawide with F/2.2 and it captures decent wide view images but according to us it can be better.
Finally the last sensor is 5MP macro and its really good at capturing closeup shots of spider web, leaf, insects etc, and we loved it.

Talking about performance of Mi 11 Lite, it features Snapdragon 732G which is a balanced midrange chipset capable of delivering good performance and battery life at the same time and you can easily play games like BGMI,COD and other top tier mobiles games in medium to high settings. Eventhough the chipset is similar like the Redmi Note 10 Pro but surprisingly the performance on the Mi 11 Lite was snappier and we faced lesser bugs when compared.
Our Verdict on Mi 11 Lite
The Mi 11 lite is something which is not for everyone as the Redmi Note 10 Pro/Pro Max offers better value according to the price, but we feel Mi 11 Lite is something which you should experience once when compared to the market. The tagline “ LITE AND LOADED “ is quite valid.
