Lenovo’s Rumored 17-inch ThinkBook Plus Might Feature a Second Screen

Lenovo has been selling laptops with dual displays since 2020. However, it was never seen as a good option for professionals as it is not even close to Lenovo’s competitor Asus’s ZenBook Pro Duo. The ZenBook Pro Duo was released back in May of 2019 and offered a full-colour touch display on the front of the laptop. However, this might be changing soon.

According to the leaked images found by Twitter user Evan Blass, Lenovo’s upcoming 17-inch ThinkBook Plus has a new full-size keyboard and a larger precision trackpad. The right side is reserved for the new touch display that digital artists. The illustrators can use it for drawing or even note-taking with the help of what seems like a drawing stylus.

This new design would provide a huge upgrade to the earlier 13.3-inch version of the ThinkBook Plus that came with an E-ink panel at the back of the laptop’s display. It can also be used for drawing, kind of like a Kindle stuck to the back of a laptop’s display.

We haven’t been able to procure anything about the device other than the leaked image. However, we can expect to see this device officially at CES 2022, which will be held at the beginning of January 2022.

We can say this according to Lenovo’s track record of revealing both its previous ThinkBook Plus gen-1 as well as gen-2 at CES 2020 and 2021, respectively.
