iQOO Confirms iQOO Z5x to Pack 120Hz Display, Wi-Fi 6, and Liquid Cooling System

iQOO is all set to introduce a new Z5 series phone in China tomorrow, dubbed – iQOO Z5x. This comes Days after iQOO lunches iQOO Z5. It could come at a more affordable price than the Snapdragon 778G SoC-powered iQOO Z5. Now, just a day before the launch, the company has posted a new teaser on Weibo that highlights some key details about the iQOO Z5x.

The upcoming iQOO Z5x supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The device is confirmed to support Wi-Fi 6 for better connectivity and a five-layer liquid cooling system for better heat management. Taking a close look at the rear camera module reveals that the phone has a 50MP primary camera.

iQOO Z5x has a flat 6.58-inch TFT display with FullHD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. It is said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. Recently, the handset visited TENAA certification with model number V2131A. The certification reveals that the iQOO Z5x may come with a 5,000mAh battery. The 50MP primary camera on the back is likely to be paired with a 2MP sensor.

The iQOO Z5x is expected to ship in 6GB/8GB RAM variants with 128GB/256GB storage options. It is likely to have an 8MP selfie shooter. 3C certification listing for the V2131A reveals that it could support fast charging of up to 44W. Lastly, iQOO Z5x will reportedly measure 63.95×75.30×8.5 mm and weighs 169g.
