iQOO Z series is a mid-range series from Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO. Today, the brand launched iQOO Z5 in this series. It came as a successor to the iQOO Z3. The new Z5 packs a better battery, a more modern-looking punch-hole display as compared to the Z3, which had a notch. This device will launch in India on 27th September. iQOO Z5 specifications
The phone features a big 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD panel. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ and 10bit color. To enhance the media consumption experience it also features a stereo speaker.
Under the hood, the phone will run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is an octa-core SoC based on a 6nm manufacturing process. The same chipset also powers phones like Moto Edge 20, Realme GT Master Edition, etc.
The main camera on the rear will be a 64MP followed by an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lens. At the front, the phone offers a 16MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout for selfies and video calls.
For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In terms of software, The phone runs on Funtouch OS 12 (Global) which is based on top of Android 11.
The phone draws its power from the 5000mAh battery. And it supports 44W fast charging which Vivo calls flash charging.
iQOO Z5 Price
The phone launched in two variants. The base variant 8GB+128GB is priced at Rs 23,990. And the highest 12+256GB variant is priced at Rs 26,990.
