iQOO Z5 is all set to launch on September 23 in China. As we are nearing the launch, the company is highlighting iQOO Z5’s specifications through teasers to build some hype around. New teasers shared by iQOO on Chinese microblogging site Weibo reveals the front design and some other key details.
The iQOO Z5 has a flat display with a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. It offers slim bezels at the top but has comparatively thick bezels at the bottom side. New teasers confirm that the iQOO Z5 supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It supports HDR10, DCI-P3 colour gamut. The device has received certification from TUV Rheinland for eye safety.
iQOO Z5 is equipped with dual stereo speakers and supports Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless. It is already confirmed that the device is powered by Snapdragon 778G chipset which has a 5G modem. The SoC will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone is said to have a 1080p resolution display, 8GB RAM, and is likely to boot Android 11 OS. It may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. Recent reports reveal that the iQOO Z5 will feature a 64MP triple camera setup on the back. The company has confirmed that the device will also launch in India without revealing the date. In India, it will be an Amazon exclusive and will be powered by the same Snapdragon 778G SoC.
