Following the release of the iQOO 7 series in India, the company appears to be readying the launch of another handset called the iQOO Z3 in the country. The phone has already obtained BIS registration, and it has now been registered with the Indian IMEI database under the model number V2073A.

This suggests that the iQOO Z3 will be available in India soon. The iQOO Z3 was first introduced in China in March, with primary specs including a 120Hz touchscreen, Snapdragon 768G SoC, 55W Quick charging, and a 64-MegaPixel main sensor. When it is out, it will most likely be iQOO’s most affordable phone yet, aiming to compete with Realme and Xiaomi in the sub-Rs 20,000 range.

iQOO Z3 Specifications

The iQOO Z3 offers a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a resolution of 2408×1080 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen gets a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera, is HDR10+ compliant and boasts of 96 percent NTSC Color Gamut.

It is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC paired with an Adreno 620 GPU, and offers up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and comes in a 256GB UFS 2.2 storage option. The phone runs Android 11 with the iQOO UI 1.0 custom skin on top, and is powered by a 4,400mAh battery with support for 55W quick charging.

It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication, as well as 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS, and USB Type-C connectivity options.

The iQOO Z3 features a quad-camera configuration at the back with a 64-MegaPixel (f/1.79 aperture) Samsung ISOCELL GW3 main sensor with LED flash and EIS, an 8-MegaPixel (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide lens, and a 2-MegaPixel (f/2.4 aperture) depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16-MegaPixel front-facing camera.

iQOO Z3 price in India:

In China, the iQOO Z3 5G costs RMB 1,699 (approx Rs 18,800) for the 6GB+128GB variant, RMB 1,799 (approx Rs 20,000) for the 8GB+128GB version, and RMB 1,999 (approx Rs 22,200) for the 8GB+256GB model. We can presume near-identical iQOO prices for the phone once it reaches India.
