Following the revamp of its flagship series, iQOO is now preparing to offer a lower-cost choice to Indian consumers. iQOO’s official Twitter handle has officially teased the iQOO Z3 India launch. While the teaser does not specifically specify the device’s name, speculations claim that the iQOO Z3 5G will be released in the country soon. The teaser merely indicates that the Z series would be released soon for the “Gen Z” generation.
Unlike the gaming-oriented iQOO 7 series devices we saw earlier, the iQOO Z3 is expected to be a mid-range phone. The phone could debut in India with the Snapdragon 768G chip, which is a revised edition of the Snapdragon 765G chip from last year.
Specifications of iQOO Z3 5G
The smartphone has a 6.58-inch full HD+ screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The China version is similarly powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 768G CPU and up to 8GB of RAM. The phone has an internal storage capacity of up to 256GB. There is also support for microSD cards with storage capacities of up to 1TB.
For the main camera, the phone employs a 64-megapixel sensor. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera are also included. The front-facing camera is housed within a waterdrop-style display notch.
The Chinese version of the phone supports 55W rapid charging for its 4,400mAh battery. The Indian model may come with a slower charger.
The phone’s look is comparable to the many low-cost Vivo phones we’ve seen recently, especially with the gradient finishes. The smartphone is powered by the Android 11 operating system, which is layered with the iQOO UI.
Price and Availability of iQOO Z3 5G
According to some sources, the iQOO Z3 5G would be available in India between June 10 and June 15 and cost roughly Rs 25,000 ($229).
The iQOO Z3 5G costs RMB 1,699 (roughly Rs 18,800) for the 6GB+128GB model, RMB 1,799 (roughly Rs 20,000) for the 8GB+128GB model, and RMB 1,999 (roughly Rs 22,200) for the 8GB+256GB model in China.
Once the phone arrives in India, we can expect near-identical iQOO retail pricing. In India, this phone is most likely to be available through Amazon. As a result, its landing page is likely to appear on the retailer’s website soon.
