iQOO Neo6 SE has been officially confirmed to launch on May 6 in China. It will be the second phone in the iQOO Neo6 series after the iQOO Neo6 that was launched earlier this month. The launch event for the Neo6 SE will begin at 7:30 PM (local time), which translates to 5:00 PM (IST).
iQOO has not revealed the Neo6 SE’s design. However, it has teased some of its specifications. The device has been confirmed to arrive with a Snapdragon 870 processor and 80W fast charging support. Apart from these confirmed specifications, past reports have tipped several key specifications of the device.
iQOO Neo6 SE is expected to bring an improved display and cameras over its predecessor. According to recent reports, the device could come with a 6.62-inch OLED screen with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It will pack a 4,700mAh battery, slightly bigger than its predecessor.
The iQOO Neo6 SE will launch as a successor to the Neo5 SE which was launched last year. The Neo5 SE has a 6.67-inch FullHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and 650nits of maximum brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
iQOO Neo5 SE features a triple camera setup on the back that includes a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. It is equipped with a 16MP selfie shooter inside the punch-hole cutout. The smartphone houses a 4,500mAh battery with support for 55W fast charging. It has connectivity features such as Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
