iQOO Neo5 SE is now officially confirmed to launch on December 20 in China. The launch date was announced through a short video teaser posted by the company on its official Weibo account. The company will also launch the Neo 5s on the same day, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The short video teaser about iQOO Neo5 SE highlights its design from all sides and showcases the colour options. The phone has a rectangular camera island on the rear side that includes three sensors and an LED flash unit. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor. However, details about the other two sensors are currently a mystery.
Moving to the front side, we see a punch-hole cutout at the centre to accommodate the selfie camera. The phone has volume rockers on the right side and a power button too, which also acts as a fingerprint scanner. At the bottom, the device has a USB Type-C port, a speaker grille, a microphone, and a sim slot. Unfortunately, there’s no 3.5mm headphone jack.
iQOO is yet to reveal the specifications of Neo5 SE. However, leaks and rumours surrounding the device suggests that it could feature Snapdragon 778G chipset. The iQOO phone is said to come with 66W fast charging support. iQOO Neo 5s, launching on the same day, seems to be more powerful than the Neo5 SE. Leaks suggest that the iQOO Neo 5s could feature a 6.56-inch OLED screen, Snapdragon 888 SoC, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
