iQOO has released the list of eligible devices and a rollout timeline for India’s Android 12 beta update. The announcement came soon after its parent company Vivo revealed its Android 12 beta update plan. You might already know that the iQOO smartphones come with Origin OS skin in China, while the rest of the world gets Funtouch OS. So, in India, the eligible devices will get the FuntouchS OS 12 based on Android 12 beta.
iQOO will upgrade a total of 5 handsets to Android 12 beta, starting from December-end. You might have already guessed, the company’s latest flagship phones in India – iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Legend – will be the first to taste Android 12 beta. The update will start rolling out at the end of December 2021.

iQOO Z3 and Z5, the company’s latest Z-series phone, will be the next in line to receive the Android 12 beta. The smartphones will also start getting the update in December-end. The last iQOO device on the list is the iQOO 3, which will receive the Android 12 beta update in March 2022.
iQOO has not announced the complete list of features for the Android 12 beta-based Funtouch OS 12. Some of the features that we can expect with the next major upgrade include a refreshed UI, new privacy features, some performance improvements, new icons, new widgets, and more.
