iQOO has recently announced that the upcoming iQOO 8 series will launch at the ChinaJoy event that is going to be held next month. According to news, few key features of the upcoming smartphone have surfaced online.
Today, our in-house tipster @Gadgetsdata has shared some key specifications of the imminent flagship with the model number V2141A, code name ‘iQOO PD2141’. According to the leaks, The iQOO 8 will feature a 3200×1440 pixel 2K resolution display that can switch between 1Hz to 120Hz AMOLED panel, and some rumors suggest that it will come with a large punch-hole panel. The prior used to feature a 4,500mAh battery. iQOO 8 is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery with a 120Wfast charger.
According to the tipster, the iQOO 8 will be the first smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC. The device is expected to pair along with 12GB of RAM, and it might have an additional 4GB virtual Ram Support.
Other than that, the series might include an under-panel fingerprint sensor and boot on OriginOS 1.0, which is based on Android 11.
iQOO 8 Launch Date
According to the news, the device will release in China, as the launch date is set for August 4th. Unfortunately, there is no word about a launch timeline in India. But, we expect to know more about it in the near future, so stay tuned.
