iQOO 8 Specification and Launch Timeline Teased – iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo is gearing up to launch its next flagship the “iQOO 8”, which will the successor of the iQOO 7. iQOO is well-known for its flagship smartphone at a sustainable price range. The brand has previously confirmed that the iQOO 8 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC. Let’s take a look at other details of the iQOO 8 available ahead of the official launch.
iQOO 8 Specifications
Today, our in-house tipster @Gadgetsdata has shared some key specifications of the imminent flagship with the model number V2141A, code name ‘iQOO PD2141’. According to the leaks, The iQOO 8 will feature a 3200×1440 pixel 2K resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED panel.
The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus 5G SoC with a boost clock speed of 3.00GHz compared to 2.84GHz found on the vanilla 888 SoC. iQOO 8 packs a 12GB Physical + 4GB virtual RAM and 256GB internal storage option.
Apart from that, the handset offers an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual speakers, and NFC support. The device will come with a crazy Superfast charging support of above 66W. The iQOO 8 will boot Android 11 based OriginOS custom skin out of the box.
iQOO 8 Launch Date
In August, iQOO 8 will be released in China, as the launch date is set for August 4th. Unfortunately, there is no word about a launch timeline in India. But, we expect to know more about it in the near future, so stay tuned.
