iQOO 8 series is reportedly coming to India sooner than you might have expected. It was recently launched in China, and the India launch was also expected, as the company also brought the iQOO 7 series in the country. Some industry sources told 91Mobiles that the iQOO 8 series would launch in India by the end of this month or early next November.

iQOO 8 series debuted last month in China. Vivo’s sub-brand announced two devices – iQOO 8 and 8 Pro – under the latest iQOO series. Rumours are that the iQOO 8 Pro might launch as the iQOO 8 Legend in India with the same set of specifications. Hopefully, the brand will start teasing the iQOO 8 series’ India launch in the coming days.

The standard iQOO 8 sports a 6.56-inch AMOLED panel with FullHD+ resolution, HDR10, and 120Hz refresh rate. Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset is present at the helm, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The device boasts a triple camera setup on the back that includes a 50MP primary shooter, a 13MP telephoto lens, and another 13MP sensor for ultrawide shots. The 16MP selfie snapper is housed inside the punch-hole cutout.

iQOO 8 packs a 4350mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging over a USB Type-C port. The handset features an under-display fingerprint sensor as well as face unlocking for additional security.

iQOO 8 Pro launched - price, specifications

iQOO 8 Legend is said to be the iQOO 8 Pro for the Indian market. So, we can expect the phone to come with a 6.78-inch 2K+ Samsung E5 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. The iQOO 8 Pro has a rectangular camera island on the back includes a 50MP Sony IMX766V primary shooter, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 16MP portrait camera. Selfies and video calls are done with a 16MP sensor.

Qualcomm’s fastest chipset, Snapdragon 888+ SoC, fuels the device, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. It houses a 4500mAh battery with 120W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging support.
