Huawei will announce a couple of Nova series phones at the October 21 launch event in Europe. The company has not yet confirmed the device’s name. However, reports believe that the company might unveil Huawei Nova 9 at the event, which was launched in China last month.
Now, phones are confirmed via an accidental Amazon listing, thanks to 5Gmobilephone.net for capturing the details before they went down. The Amazon listing confirms that Huawei Nova 9 will launch in Europe on October 21.
The screenshot also reveals that Nova 9 will cost €499 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option. Amazon listing confirms that the phone will pack the same set of specifications as it has in the Chinese variant. So, the Nova 9 coming to Europe has a 6.57-inch OLED with FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is driven by a Snapdragon 778 4G chipset.
The Nova 9 also has a 256GB storage variant for the Chinese. But the Amazon listing does not confirm whether Europe will get the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant or not. The smartphone flaunts a quad-camera setup on the back that includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro unit. There’s a 32MP punch-hole style snapper for selfies and video calls.
Huawei Nova 9 packs a 4,300mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging and reverse charging as well. It features an under-display fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.2.
