HP ZBook G8 Series Laptop Launched with Intel 11th Gen Core H-Series CPUs

HP has announced its ZBook G8 series of laptops with three models the ZBook Studio G8, ZBook Power G8, and ZBook Fury G8.

HP ZBook G8 series includes the ZBook Studio G8, ZBook Power G8, and ZBook Fury G8 which will be powered by the all-new and powerful Intel’s 11th Gen Core H-series processors, it will also have dedicated Graphic cards, and the buyer can choose the two companies- AMD or Nvidia according to there choices. All the laptops from this lineup will feature a 15.6-inch display however, the ZBook Fury G8 also has a 17.3-inch display option to choose from. The HP ZBook G8 series provides various operating systems to choose from like Windows 10, Ubuntu, FreeDOS, or Linux. Now, let’s take a look at the laptops and find out what they offer.

HP hasn’t revealed the official pricing for the ZBook G8 Series laptop. However, the laptops can be purchased in selected countries starting July 2021. HP hasn’t shared the official list yet so we don’t know when it will be available for purchase in India. Stay tuned for updates on the India launch.

The HP ZBook Studio G8 features a 15.6-inch 4K UHD (3,840×2,160 pixels) OLED panel with multitouch support with a peak brightness of up to 400 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The display is also DisplayHDR 500 certified with 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage. The ZBook Studio G8 could be powered by the new and powerful Intel Core i9-11950H CPU paired with up to 32 GB of 3,200mHz DDR4 RAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD for storage. As for the graphical capability of the laptop, it could come with an Nvidia RTX A5000 graphics card with a 16GB GDDR6 VRAM or a newly launched Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card also with 16GB GDDR6 VRAM.

As for the sound system, the laptop comes with two tweeters and two woofers tuned by Bang & Olufsen. As far as ports are concerned the laptop features two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a Mini DisplayPort 1.4, an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB Type-A port, and a headphone/ microphone combo jack, and as for the wireless connectivity it comes with Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (2×2) and Bluetooth v5.0. The company claims that the laptop can run up to nines hours and thirty minutes with the help of its 83Whr battery. The laptop is 1.79 kg heavy.

The HP ZBook Power G8 features a 15.6-inch up to 4K UHD (3,840×2,160 pixels) IPS panel with narrow bezels, with a peak brightness of up to 400 nits, and 100 percent sRGB coverage. The ZBook Power G8 could be powered by the new and powerful Intel Core i9-11950H CPU paired with up to 64GB of 3,200mHz DDR4 RAM and a 512GB (can expand up to 2TB) PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD for storage. As for the graphical capability of the laptop, it could come with an Nvidia RTX A2000 graphics card with a 4GB GDDR6 VRAM.

As for the sound system, the laptop comes with dual stereo speakers. As far as ports are concerned the laptop features a Thunderbolt 4 port, three USB Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a headphone/ mic combo jack, and as for the wireless connectivity it comes with Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (2×2) and Bluetooth v5.0. The laptop houses an 83Whr battery. The laptop is 1.89 kg heavy.

The HP ZBook Fury G8 features a 15.6-inch or a 17.3-inch up to 4K UHD (3,840×2,160 pixels) IPS panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, with a peak brightness of up to 600 nits for the 15-inch model, and a peak brightness of up to 550 nits for the 17-inch model, and 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage. The ZBook Fury G8 could be powered by the new and powerful Intel Core i9-11950H CPU or an Intel Xeon W-11955M CPU paired with up to 64GB of 3,200mHz DDR4 RAM and a 512GB (can expand up to 2TB) PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD for storage. As for the graphical capability of the laptop, it could come with an Nvidia RTX 5000 graphics card with a 16GB GDDR6 VRAM or an AMD Radeon Pro W6600M with an 8GB GDDR6 VRAM options are available with both models.

As for the sound system, the laptop comes with two tweeters and two woofers tuned by Bang & Olufsen. As far as ports are concerned the 15.6-inch model features two USB Type-A ports, a Mini DisplayPort 1.4, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, and an audio jack, and the 17.3-inch model adds an extra USB Type-A port for more functionality and as for the wireless connectivity, both the devices come with Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (2×2) and Bluetooth v5.0. Both models house a 94Whr battery. The 15.6-inch model is 2.35 kg heavy, whereas the 17.3-inch is 2.76kg.
