The Golden Globes are one of the most prestigious awards in the world that give a tribute to the top-most movies and TV series of the year. The awards usually take place in January each year, but due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the awards were delayed by a few months. A similar fate was faced by the Emmys last September, being forced to carry out the event virtually due to the pandemic. Sadly, the Golden Globes will also take place virtually this year to abide by the guidelines of the pandemic and ensure safety. The Golden Globes 2021 will be telecasted live on Monday, March 1 from 6.30 am IST onwards.
Golden Globes Timing
The Golden Globes will begin on Sunday, 28 February, 8 pm ET onwards throughout the world. This means that the time for Monday, 1 March, 6.30 am IST onwards in India. The show usually lasts for 3 hours. If you somehow miss catching the ceremony live or can’t manage to wake up that early, then you can also watch the repeat telecast later the same day at 9 pm IST.
