The update also supports group tabs whenever the users have more pages open on the chrome browser. How to Use The New Grid Layout for Android
As per the report from 9to5Google, The updated layout is currently available on the devices which have already been using Chrome. The only thing you got to do is to update your present Chrome to the latest Chrome version. If you still are unable to initiate the update, then you want to activate the layout manually.
