UPI-enabled apps such as PhonePe have made it simple to do monetary operations, transfer and receive money, and even order a cab or a movie ticket. Paying money in PhonePe can be done within a few clicks than requesting for it. The request option was featured on the initial screen, however owing to a large number of fraudulent requests, it is no longer available. The new version includes certain particular requests for UPI IDs of friends, which will ensure less fraud in comparison.
How to Request money on PhonePe?
- Launch the PhonePe app, and then, on the first screen, on the left-hand side, select “To Bank/ UPI ID.”
- Then, on the next page, click on “UPI ID,” and Select “ADD UPI ID.”
- A new page will display, where you must enter the beneficiary’s UPI ID.
- Add a person’s UPI address regardless of the application they use.
- After entering the individual’s name, the person was returned upon successful verification of the UPI ID.
- On the screen, you may now see two alternatives. “Send” is on the left, while “Request” is on the right.
- You may now make a money request on the PhonePe app, which will be displayed to you on the screen.
