How to Remove Weather and News from Windows 10 Taskbar – Microsoft is constantly tweaking Windows 10 to make it better. Some of these modifications have worked out better than others. A Weather and News widget has been enabled to the taskbar, but users may not like it. Thankfully, it’s simple to toggle off.
The feature was announced in April 2021 and released in the May Update. However, many people are only seeing the “News and Interests” widget after the June update for some reason. When you select the widget, a panel appears with further weather information, stocks, sports scores, news, and more.
This isn’t the only irritation we’ve encountered; following a reboot, you may have seen the famed “Use Microsoft Edge” box pop-up.
You don’t want a Bing-powered weather and news widget on your taskbar, do you? The good news is that the weather panel can be removed in only two clicks.
