When you visit the Airtel store remember to carry these documents:
- Passport size photo.
- Address proof.
- Identity Proof.
- Copy of last paid VI bill.
At the store, you can ask any Airtel customer executive to help you with your Portal process. You have to pay Rs. 19 for porting and you will receive a new SIM from the Airtel company with your previous number.
Now for further use you will receive an SMS with a code within 4 to 7 days and then you have to call on 59059 and verify the code that you have got to activate your sim number. That’s it you are done with VI to AIRTEL process and can start using your new SIM.
