  1. Open your Google Doc
  2. Go to ‘Insert’ on the toolbar
  3. Select ‘Drawing’ and then click on ‘ + New’ from the pop-up menu
  4. Open Google Slides in another tab
  5. Go to ‘Insert’ on the toolbar
  6. Select ‘Video’ from the pop-up menu
  7. Insert the link of the video you wish to embed in the provided space and click on the Search icon
  8. Click on the video and then click ‘Select’
  9. Copy the embedded video from the slide
  10. Go back to the Google Doc tab
  11. Paste the embedded video in the Drawing
  12. Select ‘Save and Close’
