How to Download Videos on Instagram?

There are three simple ways to download your favourite Instagram video to your smartphone or PC.

We understand how relaxing it is to share your experiences with friends on Instagram while also checking out their photos and videos. If you enjoy some of the videos on Instagram, you may want to save them for future reference or preservation. Instagram, unfortunately, does not provide a direct way to save its content.

Although the app does not include a built-in option for saving or downloading videos, there are a few tools that can assist you in obtaining that video. In this article, we will walk you through a few simple steps to download IG videos on either a smartphone or a desktop computer.

How to Download Instagram Videos on Android

The Google Play Store contains a plethora of apps that allow you to download Instagram videos. Video Downloader for Instagram is one of the useful apps that allows you to quickly save a video from the platform.

Step 1: First, download the app from the Google Play Store.

Step 2- After that, open Instagram and navigate to the video you want to download, then tap the three-dots icon in the top right.

Step 3: Select Copy Link.

Step 4- Next, open the Video Downloader for Instagram, and the app will automatically paste the link you copied. It will then begin to download.

The downloaded video can be viewed in your Android phone’s Photos or Gallery apps.

How to Download Instagram Videos on iPhone

The Apple ecosystem isn’t as adaptable as Android’s, but there are a few workable apps that will suffice. Blaze: Browser & File Manager is one such app.

Step 1: Download the app on your iPhone and, once installed, navigate to Instagram.

Step 2: Copy and paste the video link you want to save into the Blaze app.

Step 3: Tap the download button, then choose ‘Export video To Camera Roll.’ The video will be saved.

How to Download Instagram Videos on Desktop

There are several third-party websites where you can download Instagram videos. The 4K Video Downloader, which works on Windows, macOS, and Linux, is one of the simpler sites. Here’s how to put it to use.

Step 1: Log in to your Instagram account and copy the link to the video you want to save. Right-click any video on the desktop and select Copy Link.

Step 2: Then, in the browser, open the 4K Video Downloader and click the green Paste Link button.

Step 3: The app will display a small tile asking you to view the format and save the file’s location.

Step 4- After you’ve made your selection, click the Download button.

Step 5- When the download is finished, right-click the video’s name in the 4K Video Downloader and select Play to watch the video.
