In China, the Honor V40 price & specifications have been officially announced and it is the first phone to launch in November after the Huawei-Honor separation. Do note, due to difficulties with the supply chain caused by US sanctions, Huawei sold its Honor brand. While Honor worked mostly independently, it relied on Huawei for its Kirin processors from HiSense. This could also mean that with Google Play Services installed, the Honor V40 global version (called Honor View 40) could arrive. The Honor V40 features a dual punch-hole pill-shaped monitor, a curved waterfall screen, and a triple-sensor rectangular rear camera module. For the version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, the Honor V40 5G price is around Rs.40,600. The version of 8GB + 256GB is priced at approx Rs.45,200. The phone is already available in China and comes with color choices in Night Black, Titanium Silver, Rose Gold.

Honor V40 features a 120Hz refresh rate 6.72-inch full HD+ OLED waterfall display, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1236 x 2679 pixel resolution, 80-degree super broad curvature, P3 wide color spectrum, 93% screen-to-body ratio screen ratio, and 2.0.0.0 TUV Rheinland global eye safety certification. The smartphone is powered by 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage paired with the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor. The phone runs on Android 10 OS with Magic UI 4.0 and the global version which comes with Google Play Services installed as it is separated from Huawei.

Switching to optics, the Honor V40 has triple cameras with a 50MP main sensor using RYYB ultra-light sensing technology, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor for close-up images. It also has an LED flash and laser autofocus housed inside the module of the camera. For selfies and video calls, the phone gets a 16MP dual-camera setup on the front. A 4000mAh battery is packed into the Honor V40 which supports 66W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6 Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and GPS are all networking options.
