The Honor Play 5 was unveiled as the company’s latest Play series smartphone. Besides its large OLED display, it has a quad-camera setup on its back and a 3,800mAh battery. Honor Play 5 Price
You’ll find the Play 5 in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. The smartphone will be available in China starting May 26th. The Honor Play 5 is priced at RMB 2099 (~ Rs. 23,800) for base variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is available for RMB 2299 (~ Rs. 26,100). The smartphone retails in three colour variants – Black, Gradient Silver, and Purple.
Honor Play 5 Specifications
The Honor Play 5 boasts a 6.53-inch FHD+ OLED display with a screen resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. Up top, there is a waterdrop-shaped notch that houses the selfie camera. A fingerprint sensor is built into the display as well.
The phone is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimnesity 800 processor, which is manufactured on a 7nm process. Among other features, the smartphone features 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The smartphone runs Android 10 with Magic UI 4.0.
There are four rear cameras on the Play 5 with an LED flash hidden inside a squircle module comprising of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a secondary 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and dual 2-megapixel sensors. There’s a 16-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies and video calls.
Beneath, the Play 5 sports a 3,800mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging support. Also included are a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity options on the Honor Play 5 include 5G, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS.
