Honor has finally announced the launch date for the Honor 60 series through a post on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. The company’s next flagship series will launch in China on December 1 at 7:30 PM local time. The company shared a short teaser revealing some part of the phone.
Honor 60 series will come as a successor to the Honor 50 series, launched in June. Similar to its predecessor, the next flagship series from Honor will reportedly include three models – Honor 60 SE, Honor 60, and Honor 60 Pro. The short teaser video suggests that the devices have starry sky elements on the rear panel. It also confirms that the devices have a curved display.
A leaked poster for the Honor 60 series recently surfaced on the internet, revealing an identical camera setup to the Honor 50 series. The phones will feature a dual circular cutout inside the rear camera module. The first phone will house a primary sensor, while the second circular cutout may house three sensors and an LED flash.
According to the tipster Chinese tipster @WHYLAB, the Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro will support 66W fast charging, whereas the Honor 60 SE will support 40W fast charging. There’s not much known about the devices yet. However, rumours are that the Honor 60 will feature quad cameras, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, and a 4,500 mAh battery.
