Honor 50 was the company’s first phone from an independent brand with Google Mobile Service (GMS). It was the flagship lineup from the brand, and now, the launch of its successor is right around the corner. Ahead of an official announcement, a Chinese tipster @WHYLAB has shared an official-looking teaser on Weibo and some key details about the phone.
According to the tipster, the Honor 60 series will launch next month in China. The series will include three devices – Honor 60 SE, Honor 60, and Honor 60 Pro. He claims that the vanilla Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro support 66W fast charging, while the Honor 60 SE is limited to 40W fast charging support.
The rear design in the leaked poster has an identical camera module. The first circular cutout inside the camera module seems to house a single primary sensor and the second cutout may include three sensors and LED flash, similar to the Honor 50.
Honor 60 is believed to carry the model number GIA-AN00. It was recently spotted on the 3C certification site with 66W fast charging support. Honor 50 also supports the same charging speed. Rumours are that the device will come with quad-rear cameras, Snapdragon 870 SoC, and a 4,500mAh. The Pro model could come with a single selfie camera inside a punch-hole cutout. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about the devices as we get close to the launch.
