Apple has added two new voice options for Siri in the sixth beta version of iOS 14.5, which is only available to developers and public beta users. If you’ve already upgraded to iOS 14.5, read on to learn how to find and activate the latest Siri voices on your iPhone, iPad, or HomePod.
The new voices were recorded to sound more realistic, according to Apple, even when using phrases created by Apple’s Neural text to speech engine. The two new Siri voices are currently only available in English, but the company plans to extend their availability to other languages in the future.
For those who have already installed the new version of iOS 14.5, changing the voice of Siri on your device is as simple as following a few steps. Here’s how to go about it:
step 1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
step 2. Select Siri & Check from the menu.
step 3. Make sure Siri’s language is set to English (United States).
step 4. Select Siri Voice from the drop-down menu.
There are now four distinct voices to choose from, rather than just two. The old male and female voices are Voice 1 and Voice 4, respectively. Voice 2 is the new female voice, and Voice 3 is the new male voice. Simply choose one of the choices to get the latest Siri voice downloaded to your device.

When you choose a new voice on your iPhone, your paired Apple Watch will use the same voice. If you have a HomePod, however, you’ll need to upgrade to Software 14.5 to get the latest voices.

Although HomePod Software betas aren’t as commonly available as iOS and watchOS betas if you have access to the most recent HomePod Software beta, here’s how to change Siri’s voice:
step 1. Open the Home app on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 14.5.
step 2. Tap and hold the HomePod icon you want to change Siri’s voice on to change Siri’s voice.
step 3. To reach the HomePod settings, swipe down.
step 4. Make sure Siri’s language is set to English (United States).
step 5. Select Siri Voice from the drop-down menu.
The Siri voice choices are the same as they are on the iPhone and iPad from there. Simply select the desired choice, and HomePod will download the new Siri voice.
