A player has completed Grand Theft Auto V without receiving any damages or injury for the first time. UnNameD achieved the feat, posting the entire run on YouTube with a message stating that it took 48 attempts to eventually finish the game without hitting something.
To ensure that no harm was taken during the run, UnNameD used a mod that gave the player just 1HP, meaning that every shot would result in a one-hit kill. UnNameD didn’t wear body armor for the entire run, and Trevor’s unique “Red Mist” power was also disabled.
For a game like Grand Theft Auto 5, where shootouts are always messy and a single stray bullet will kill a promising streak, the run is impressive. Aside from shootouts, players attempting a no-hit run in GTA must also be cautious drivers, as even minor car accidents will cause harm. UnNameD is the first to show proof of completion of a no-hit run on Grand Theft Auto V. A few players in the speedrunning community has been looking for a no-hit run on GTA V, but UnNameD is the first to show proof of completion.
The entire 9-hour run is available on YouTube, but the toughest shootout missions, such as The Paleto Score and Derailed, are included at the end of the second video if you only have a few minutes.
