Google Stadia on Chromecast with Google TV, Android TV Launching on June 23

Google Stadia is bringing its services to bigger screens.

Today, Google Nest revealed the latest Google cloud gaming service Stadia is expanding its services by providing support to its Chromecast with Google TV and also to Android TV OS. Starting June 23rd you will be able to play the entire Stadia library which consists of more than 180 games instantly.

Stadia will be supported on the following devices:

  • Chromecast with Google TV
  • Hisense Android Smart TVs (U7G, U8G, U9G)
  • Nvidia Shield TV
  • Nvidia Shield TV ProOnn FHD Streaming Stick and UHD Streaming Device
  • Philips 8215, 8505, and OLED 935/805 Series Android TVs
  • Xiaomi MIBOX3 and MIBOX4

Google also stated that Android TV OS devices that are not currently listed, can also experience Stadia by choosing the experimental support to play Stadia. Google further stated that users can face some issues while using Stadia as it is in the development phase, but they hope to bring Stadia to more screens in the coming time.
