After releasing a couple of hard-to-solve puzzles yesterday on Google Developers’ Twitter account, Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, made it easy by revealing the Google I/O 2022 event date in his latest tweet. So, it is now officially confirmed that Google I/O 2022 will be held on May 11th and 12th.

Google‘s annual developer conference will again be an online event. It’s not going to be a completely online event as there will be a limited number of live audiences. While others can join the event virtually for free, like most of us. You will be able to watch the live stream of the Google I/O 2022 event through YouTube. The event will be hosted from the Shoreline Amphitheater, located in Mountain View, California.

Google’s annual developer conference, Google I/O, is always a much-awaited event, where the company announces a new version of Android, details about new products, and a bunch of developers-focused announcements. For most of the viewers, the exciting thing to watch out for is the opening keynote section, which is usually delivered by Sundar Pichai on the first day of the event. This section consists of announcements on upcoming products, updates on Google apps and services such as Chrome, Google Play, and more.

While Google has not announced anything about what’s coming on Google I/O 2022, we can expect more updates on Android 13 as it has already released the first preview of Android 13. In recent weeks, rumours around Google Pixel 6A and Pixel 7 series paced up. So, chances are that we might hear about the upcoming Pixel phones at the event.
