In the Samsung Unpacked event yesterday, Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 4 with the Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3, and Galaxy Buds2. These smartwatches will feature the 5nm chipset Samsung announced about a few days ago. The Watch4 starts at USD 249 for the Bluetooth variant and USD 299 for the LTE variant.

Specifications
The Watch4 comes in 40mm and 44mm with a screen size of 1.2 inches and 1.4 inches, respectively. The Watch4 classic comes in 42mm and 46mm with the same screen sizes. The display pixel density is also the same for both the watches at 396x396ppi for the 40mm and 42mm and 450x450ppi for 42mm and 46mm models. The displays that are used are Samsung’s super AMOLED panels. AOD is supported and it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass DX.
The tagline for these Smartwatches is “Fitness within arms reach“, and this indicates that Samsung has them loaded with a ton of features for people conscious about their health.

The battery capacity is 361mAh and 247mAh for the bigger and smaller models respectively. The company claims battery up to 40 hours on a single charge and the watch charges within 2 hours. The Watch4 is the first to be based on WearOS powered by OneUI. This helps in running a lot of apps way better than before with better graphics. The storage is 1.5GB RAM with 16GB ROM. The Watch4 and Watch4 Classic are not only more powerful but also more efficient. This is possible due to Samsung’s new Exynos W920– the 5nm SoC.

While the Watch4 Classic only comes in two colour options, Black and Silver, the Watch4 comes in Pink Gold, Green, Silver, and Black.
