Samsung has launched the Galaxy Buds2, the successor to last year’s Galaxy Bud and the Galaxy Buds+. The new buds were showcased at the Samsung launch event Unpacked on 11th August. They are priced at USD 149. Let us have a look at their specifications.

Specifications
The Galaxy Buds2 are tuned by AKG. We have seen the Samsung-AKG partnership for a long time now as Samsung has bought the parent company, Harman. The Buds2 have a pair of drivers for each earbud, one of which is a tweeter and the other is a woofer. Each earbud has 3 mics – one is for audio input and the other two are used for noise cancellation. They come with Bluetooth V5.2.
With ANC turned on, Samsung claims around 5 hours of continuous playback for the buds and 20 hours with the included case. Without ANC, you can get up to 7 hours of playback, 30 hours with the case. In addition to the included cable, the case can also be charged wirelessly using a Qi wireless charger.
The battery capacity of the case is 472 mAh with each bud having a 61mAh battery in it. Samsung also says that you can get up to one hour of listening with 5 mins of charging.
The buds feature a bunch of sensors that help improve the overall user experience. They have an array of tap controls that are preset. The charging case weighs 41.2 grams with each bud weighing 5 grams each. They are also IPX7 water-resistance certified.

Price
The Galaxy Buds2 are priced at USD 149. These are similarly priced to the Galaxy Buds+. Samsung has not yet announced the official prices for the Indian market.
