The upcoming HBO Max’s Friends reunion special will be available soon! The unscripted special, which has been repeatedly postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will finally start its shoot next week.
The intensely anticipated Friends reunion is projected to film in the week of April 5, as per Variety. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, the beloved sitcom’s six main cast members, will reunite on screen for the first time in the special.
The star cast will shoot an exclusive reunion at the show’s original soundstage on the Warner Bros. Studio lot. According to People magazine, David Schwimmer mentioned the upcoming event during a virtual interview on The Graham Norton Show, which aired in the United Kingdom on Friday and will air in the United States on BBC AMERICA on April 9.

The plot of Friends revolves around the lives of six friends who live together and endure every joy and sadness. Since the show’s termination in 2004, fans have been asking for a revival of the cast. The show’s entire cast never united on any show after it was canceled, making the Friends reunion even more special. The cast of Friends is not only on-screen, but also real-life friends.
Ben Winston is directing and executive producing the special, which will be shot on Stage 24, the original Friends soundstage on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank, Calif., with Friends executive producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane.
The popular sitcom followed six friends in their twenties and thirties who live in Manhattan, New York City.
