Skagen has announced the release of their Falster Gen 6 Smartwatch in India. The Snapdragon Wear 4100+ platform powers the smartwatch, which has 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM. According to Skagen, the smartwatch ships with Google’s Wear OS and will be eligible for the Wear OS 3 system upgrade in 2022.
According to the company, the Gen 6 is the first smartwatch powered by the Snapdragon Wear 100+ Platform, enabling customers with exciting performance advancements such as quicker application launch time, highly responsive user experiences, and more efficient power usage.
The smartwatch is available in five different models, including 42mm case sizes and silver-tone, charcoal, and black case colours. The business has also released a number of smartwatch bands, including stainless-steel mesh, silicone, and leather. The smartwatch may also be worn with standard 20mm bands. At the time of launch, it would be priced around Rs 21,995.

Fossil Skagen Falster Gen 6 Smartwatch Specifications
The smartwatch has a 1.28-inch AMOLED display and a 42mm stainless steel frame. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ CPU and has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The Skagen Falster Gen 6 supports magnetic charging, as do many other smartwatches. A heart rate monitor, SpO2 tracker, and sensors for compass, gyroscope, and altimeter are also included in the wristwatch.
As previously stated, the smartwatch comes with WearOS 2 and, according to the company, it will be upgraded to WearOS 3 in the future. Water-resistance is up to 34 ATMs on the Skagen Falster Gen 6 smartwatch. The Falster Gen 6 Smartwatch is also said to be swimproof up to 3 ATM. Users on both Android and iOS should be able to use the new smartwatch from Fossil to make tethered calls and use Google Assistant with audio answers enabled through the watch’s speaker. In terms, of connectivity, it comes with Bluetooth 5.0 LE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and NFC SE support.
Skagen claims that the gadget may be charged up to 80% capacity in 30 minutes. The watch’s ‘Smart Battery Modes’ and lower power consumption, according to the firm, work in tandem with the energy efficiency of the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ platform to provide customers with more than 24 hours of battery life without the usage of the built-in “extended battery mode.” Notably, the new smartwatch from Fossil is compatible with both Android and iOS smartphones.
