Earn Cashback from WhatsApp Payments Soon

WhatsApp introduced sending money to your contacts through the app itself back in November. They called this feature WhatsApp Payments. WABetaInfo found that the upcoming beta update has a cashback feature for users in India.

Sending money on WhatsApp is easy. All a user needs is a bank account with a debit card to transfer money via UPI (Unified Payment Interface). To know more about how to use WhatsApp Payments, read:

Digital payments eliminate the need to carry hard cash, are convenient, and offer cashback and vouchers. WhatsApp is trying hard to make users shift to WhatsApp payments by providing them cashback for taking on transactions. The cashback amount is limited up to Rs 10. Users will receive the cashback after 48 hours of completing the transaction. Here is a preview of how the promotional offer will look, once it arrives.

As with many promotional offers, this might be user-specific and available only for a specific period. The update is just going to be for users on India as of now, since WhatsApp Payments is only available for India and Brazil.

WhatsApp Payment Cashback is a promotional offer discovered in the beta phase of the application. The time of its release or if it releases at all cannot be assured.
