Croma, a Tata Group electronics retailer, revealed a collaboration with Amazon to introduce Croma Fire TV Edition Smart LED TVs, a new smart TV line for Indian consumers. The brand hopes to have an easy and personalized interface to the customer through this strategic relationship.
Croma Fire TV Edition is a new Croma product. Fire TV comes pre-installed on smart LED TVs, allowing users to watch content from over 5000 applications, including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, Disney + Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLiv, and more. The Croma Fire TV Edition also features a voice remote that works with Alexa. Without the need for multiple remotes, the user may swap between DTH and OTT. Croma Fire TV Edition is assisted by Dolby Vision and Dolby atoms.
“The explosion of OTT applications, and the resulting fragmentation of viewership, is generating a market for a more streamlined browsing experience.”
Ritesh Ghosal, Croma’s CMO.
The Alexa voice search and the Fire TV OS’s intuitive soft-touch remote control have a unique and, in our opinion, superior browsing interface to most Smart TVs.
