Create Public Threads in Your Instagram Stories Using, “Add Yours” Newly Added Feature

Instagram's Add Yours Feature

Instagram, the ever-growing social media platform, keeps on adding new features time and again to improve users’ experience. You can now create public threads in your stories by using the “Add Yours” feature.

This feature was being tested, and the first time I came across it was a few weeks ago. Add Yours lets Instagrammers upload stories with Add Yours sticker that allows their followers to add their pictures. When users add their photos to the Add Yours sticker, they get uploaded to their stories with the same sticker.

And it leads to creating a public thread, letting users add pictures and their followers hop in the chain. This will help users get more reach as users can see all the photos and accounts that added their pictures to the thread.

Overall this feature is a great way for users to gain engagement with others on the platform. If used the right way, it can also be an excellent tool for businesses to market their products.

With custom prompts and public responses, you can share the sticker and see who responds to it in their own Stories.”

Adding links to your Instagram stories had criteria of a minimum of ten thousand followers and verification status. Still, with sticker links update, Instagram made adding links to your stories available for all.

These two tools being made available to everyone shines a light on Instagram, making efforts to keep users invested in using the Photo/Video sharing platform. The more time users are scrolling through Instagram, the better it gets for the company to grow.
