Smart TVs and Chromecast have enthralled users with enticing features and user interfaces. Every device has various capabilities and qualities, and which one to choose depends on the individual’s preferences and previous experience with technology.
Users are drawn to three major types of smart TVs:
- Services and Apps
Apple TV also has a tvOS app ecosystem. When it comes to applications and utilities, Roku is the front-runner, with Amazon Fire TV coming in second. Both have a large range of apps organized into categories such as news, weather, sports, and so on. The Nvidia Shield Android TV application still has a large range of apps. However, Android TV pales in contrast to Roku 4 and Amazon Fire TV.
- Voice Search
Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku 4, and Android TV smartphones all have a voice search system. Both of them have built-in microphones in their remote controls.
Smart TV, Android, and Fire TV both have a better voice search option. Voice search on the Roku 4 can still find a lot of content, but it isn’t as good as on Android TV smartphones.
Speech activation microphones, For private listening, there’s a convenient headphone port, and Some games now have motion control.

Roku has a wide range of applications for movies and episodes that are well-categorized. It has a fabulous user interface and great remote control. I really like the remote because it has a private listening option which can be used for other activities like gaming.
- Siri, the App Store, and Third-Party Controllers are also included in the fourth generation.
- There are no batteries needed since the remote has a charging port.
- For Apple owners, the user interface is really familiar.
- Apple gadgets such as the iPad and iPhone will power the Apple 4th generation TV.
- WiFi control is possible on the TV.
- Internal storage is available.
- It doesn’t have as many games as Roku or Amazon.
- It is not possible to scan content through many applications.
- There isn’t an Android version for controlling Apple TV.
It’s a fantastic choice for Apple fans. Its remote appeals to me because of its excellent touchpad and excellent motion sensor capabilities. Its AirPlay functionality is fantastic because it allows us to display our Mac screen on Apple TV.
