The iPad Pro 2021 price in India, specifications, and the release date are now official, thanks to Apple’s Spring Loaded event, where the latest tablets were unveiled. The iPad Pro 2021 has the same design as last year’s models, but it has a number of upgrades under the hood. The mighty M1 chip powers both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2021 models, taking the performance of Apple’s flagship tablets up to par with the MacBooks that debuted last year. The new iPad Pro models are said to be 50% faster than previous iPad Pro models. The iPad Pro 2021 features a Liquid Retina XDR monitor, 5G, up to 2TB storage, and Thunderbolt and USB 4 ports, among other features.
Price in India
The 128GB storage version of the iPad Pro 2021 11-inch costs Rs 71,900 in India, while the 256GB storage option costs Rs 80,900. The prices for the 512GB and 1TB storage options are Rs 98,900 and Rs 1,34,900, respectively. The top-of-the-line 2TB storage model costs Rs 1,70,900.
The 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2021 ships with Rs 99,900 sticker for the base 128GB storage variant, whereas the 256GB and 512GB variants cost Rs 1,08,900 and Rs 1,26,900 respectively. The 1TB and 2TB storage variants are available at Rs 1,62,900 and Rs 1,98,900 price tags respectively.
Both models are available in Space Grey and Silver, with pre-orders starting on April 30th and sales beginning in the second half of May.
Specifications of iPad Pro 2021
The Apple M1 silicone powers both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2021, which is paired with up to 2TB storage that can hold nearly 60,000 ProRAW files. According to the manufacturer, the chip includes a “next-generation 16-core Apple Neural engine,” an advanced image signal processor, and graphics output that is over 1,500 times faster. The latest tablets also have haptic PS5 and Xbox controllers, as well as 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Thunderbolt 3, and USB 4 ports.

The XDR monitor is said to have a resolution of 2,732 x 2,048p, 10,000 Mini LEDs in over 2,500 local dimming areas, 1600 nits peak brightness, 1,000 nits of brightness, and a 1 million-to-one contrast ratio, according to Apple. The new iPad Pro 2021 models are said to have a battery life of up to 10 hours on Wi-Fi models and nine hours on Wi-Fi + Cellular models.
The iPad Pro 2021 features slim bezels on the front and a squarish camera module on the rear, identical to last year’s versions. A new 12MP 120-degree ultra-wide selfie camera is included on the front of both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models. The sensor is complemented by a True depth sensor for Face ID and the ‘Centre Stage’ feature, which automatically pans the camera as you step around and adjusts the focal length. The iPad Pro 2021’s rear cameras have also been upgraded. In low-light settings, Apple claims the ISP and LIDAR scanner can capture “incredible information.”
Additionally, the iPad Pro 2021 supports the Apple Pencil, Smart Keyboard Folio, and Magic Keyboard and can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM. A one-meter USB-C charging cable and a 20W USB-C power adapter are also included with the units.
