Beats has recently expanded its range of wireless buds with the addition of the brand new Beats Studio Buds, after a long wait and plenty of rumors on the internet. Beats Studio Buds are available for purchase in the US and Canada for $149.99 with active noise cancellation, Transparency mode, USB-C charge, and more.
The Studio Buds can also be referred to as a lite version of AirPods or Airpods 3. From their funky new design, and minimalist theme to Apple-ready features like voice-activated Siri, this is the immediate choice for AirPods fans, who don’t wish to spend extra bucks.
Beats Studio Buds Features
Beats Studio Buds feature an in-ear design similar to AirPods Pro, but without a stem sticking out from the bottom. This new design makes them incredibly compact when compared to the Powerbeats Pro.
Even though there is no stem, Beats Studio Buds feature physical playback controls on both earbuds. Instead of capacitive touch controls like Apple’s AirPods, the Beats Studio Buds use a physical button on the ends of both buds for controls.
The earbuds pack up to 5 hours of battery life when the noise-cancellation is turned on, and up to 8 hours of battery backup when it is turned off. The studio buds can be charged twice with the charging case and 5 minutes of charge can deliver up to 1 hour of playback.
Beats Studio Buds are IPX4 water-resistant, and Bluetooth 5.2 compatible. There are three color options available for the Studio Buds- Black, White, and Red.
Beats Studio Buds Availability and Retail Price
Beats Studio Buds are available to order today in the US and Canada, at $100 less than the AirPods Pro, hence making a great deal at $149.99.
