Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Finally Revealed at E3 2021- Ubisoft’s E3 event concluded with a first look at “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora”, the highly anticipated video game based on James Cameron’s fantasy film, Avatar. It will be a first-person action-adventure game in which the Na’vi will face off against humans once again.
CEO Yves Guillemot didn’t reveal much other than that the company is collaborating with Disney on the title, which will be an independent narrative from the forthcoming films. Announced first in 2017, Massive Entertainment will develop the game.
Players will take on the role of Na’vi and explore a previously unseen area of Pandora. We now have a peek at our first trailer, which you can see below.

The original ‘Avatar,’ debuted in 2009, was a real cultural phenomenon, the effects of which can still be felt in the world of pop culture today. Whenever the subject of blue aliens or fascinating other worlds comes up, the talk invariably leads to ‘Avatar,’ the exotic planet of Pandora, and its native Na’vi population.
The impact of ‘Avatar’ went beyond mere commercial appeal, as the film introduced and popularised motion capture and 3D technology, which is now a standard feature of big-budget Sci-Fi blockbusters.
In December 2009, the original ‘Avatar’ film was released alongside a companion video game titled ‘James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game.’ The Game was set in the same universe as the film, and the plot acted as a prequel to the events of ‘Avatar.’
The game was rated fairly well for its time, with largely positive reviews. It was also criticised for being a very typical Third Person Shooter game with a linear gameplay structure that failed to fully explore the awe-inspiring grandeur of the ‘Avatar’ universe.
