Apple has announced that WWDC 2022 will be held this year beginning June 6. It will be hosted entirely online, like in previous years. This year, the apple is scheduled to release iOS 16 and watchOS 9 for its global users. According to Mark Gurman’s weekly Power On newsletter, Apple plans to release new hardware this year with various health-related capabilities.
The WWDC platform is used by Apple to showcase the most modern iOS, macOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and tvOS technologies. It also gives developers access to Apple engineers and technology to help them come up with ideas for new apps and immersive experiences.

As per the recent reports by Mark Gurman, Apple is likely to talk about its recent updates by launching some new hardware this year. The new update will likely have several health-related features. Though he said that no update is expected as much as iOS are concerned, but he pointed out some significant enhancements across the board by saying that the upcoming updates will have new notifications and health-tracking features.
According to Gurman, perhaps iPadOS is going to release a new iPadOS multitasking interface. It is also being anticipated that on the very same day, Apple might release the new updates regarding watchOS 9. It is likely to have a health-tracking system added this time. Even though Mark Gurman went on talking about the possible unveiling of the updates at the Worldwide Developers’ Conference, he has shown his suspicion over the company’s intention of announcing any updates about its much-rumored Mixed Reality headset here. He further said, “As far as I know, a full-blown introduction of the mixed-reality headset is still probably out of the question in June, but I am told that beta versions of iOS 16-codenamed Sydney- are chockfull of the references to the headset and its interactions with the iPhone.”

So, he doubts that the headset can perhaps be launched during the iOS 16 cycle and will last till the launch of the iOS 1 launch in the fall of the next year. He went further to speculate that even though the launch of the headset can happen next year, Apple is likely to preview some its software prior to that. According to Gurman, the consumers can get a peek at the headset’s Ros (reality operating system) within a very short period of time.
There is a buzz going around that this time iPadOS can get to see some changes. Previously, in the case of the iPad15, Apple did not allow its users to take the proper advantage of the multitasking capabilities. But this year, it seems like that will change in the WWDC that will be hosted on June 6th.
Last but not least, Apple is also expected to launch some of its new products quickly, like the MacBook Air, an updated Mac Mini, MacBook Pro, and 24-inch iMac. These are some listed products that are scheduled to be launched this year. As mentioned previously, the company might use the opportunity to host WWDC to launch some of its hardware products this year.
