Apple’s most awaited event of the month is approaching, and the company is expected to release some jaw-dropping gadgets. The iPhone 13 will be the major focus of the event, but there will also be an improvement to the next generation of the Apple Watch.
In the design of the Series 7 (next-generation watch), there will be some eye-catching improvements. There have been leaks that speculate that the screen size of the device will jump from 40mm and 44mm to 41mm and 45mm. Despite its seeming insignificance on paper, in person, this would be quite a noticeable modification. As a consequence of increasing the pixel width by 1mm, we will get an increase of 16% in resolution, resulting in a 396×484 resolution.
It could also have an advanced sensor that analyses a variety of health metrics. The Apple Watch is also expected to have a smaller S7 chip to accommodate a larger battery. This indicates that the new model will have longer battery life.
Apple Watch Series 7: Specifications and Pricing
The smartwatch may be getting some design changes, as suggested by multiple leaks. The device will have flatter edges, a flatter display, and minimal bezels. Tipsters have also mentioned larger 42mm and 45mm models in the upcoming smartwatch.
Apple’s S7 chip will be smaller to make more room for a larger battery. Moreover, there are a few images on the internet showing that the Series 7 will come in three different colour options: Space Gray, Silver, and Space Black. Additionally, the device is supposed to feature updated ultra-wideband capabilities, similar to what we’ve seen in the Apple AirTag.
Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to look a little bit different, mostly in terms of design. Thus, a price increase on the Apple Watch Series 7 is unlikely as the brand has kept prices static over the years. Currently, the Apple Watch Series 6 is priced at Rs 40,900 ($399). As such, Apple Watch Series 7 is likely to be priced similarly.
