Apple Watch Series 6 Discontinued: Series 7 Pre-orders Begin

Apple recently announced the Apple Watch Series 7 at their “California Streaming” event alongside other products like the new 9th generation iPad, iPhone 13 series, and other devices. We were not given any pre-order or launch date at the event but the brand did announce these dates and official prices about a week ago.

The pre-orders for Apple Watch Series 7 started today and we had the typical process of the store going down and people having troubles in pre-ordering due to heavy load on the web-store.

Following pre-orders of the Apple Watch Series 7 opening up earlier today, Apple has removed the Series 6 from its website, no longer offering it to purchase for customers. The ‌Apple Watch Series 7‌ replaces the Series 6 and now leaves the Apple Watch SE, Apple Watch Series 3, and Series 7 in the lineup.

The Apple Watch Series 7 will be available in stores from October 15th this year. The prices for the Apple Watch Series 7 are:

Aluminum:

41mm: ₹41,900 ($600)

41mm Cellular: ₹50,900($700)

45mm: ₹44,900($650)

45mm Cellular: ₹53,900($750)

Stainless Steel (GPS + Cellular Only) :

41mm: ₹69,900 ($1000)

45mm: ₹73,900 ($1050)

The Apple Watch Series 7 is yet another version of one of the best smart watches on the planet. While there were no new major features, the Apple Watch Series 7 is still a great device to get and it will be interesting to see just how many Apple can manage to sell!
