Amazon Great Indian Festival: Dates & Offers

It’s that time of the year again. Amazon is out with its Great Indian Festival which is one of the biggest online shopping sale in India. It recently announced, through a virtually held press conference that the event will start on 3rd October. The sale will last the entire month as India experiences several festivals. Like tradition, Amazon Prime members will get the same before other members.

As always, there will be considerable discounts across the platform on most of their product catalog. Once again, tech products seem to be at the forefront with some massive discounts on everything ranging from mobile phones to accessories and wearables like smartwatches and earphones. Devices like tablets, and laptops, and home appliances including Smart TVs should also see massive price cuts. Amazon’s own products will still receive the biggest discounts. From its various Amazon Basics products to Kindles, this sale is the best time to buy. Amazon says its Echo, Fire TV, and Kindle devices will be sold at the lowest prices of the year.

Amazon also says we should see over 1000 new products from famous mainstream brands like Apple, Lenovo, OnePlus, Xiaomi, etc.

Earlier this week, Amazon’s rival Flipkart announced that it is hosting its Big Billion Days 2021 sale starting October 7. Flipkart has since shifted its Big Billion Days to start along with Amazon, on the same date: 3rd October.

Amazon has also collaborated with HDFC bank to give its customers some special benefits. People using HDFC Bank Debit Cards, Credit Cards or EMI will receive 10% instant discount. There will also be additional cashback offers, extended no-cost EMI options, and additional warranties — that all will be available during special Prime Fridays exclusively for Prime members.

Amazon and Flipkart have both made this October very special allowing customers to buy what they wanted at cheaper prices! It will be interesting to see what happens as both companies start their sales on the same day! Happy buying!
